Join us for our first in-person Counterfeit Auction Fundraiser! Enjoy an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and live music from TJ Jeter. Matt Holiday will be hosting the live art auction featuring forgeries by local artists including Carroll Foster, Maggie MacDonald, Aimee Wise, and more! Guests will have the opportunity to bid on forgeries of famous artwork like Annette Giaco's gorgeous take on Woman in Gold, (original by Gustav Klimt), Jenny Bonner's playful rendition of a Gauguin, and Johni Bleu's impressive forgery of The Descent from the Cross by Peter Paul Rubens. Come enjoy a festive evening in the Art Museum, support your local artists and the Spartanburg Art Museum!
