taught painting and drawing at Bob Jones University for eight years.

After
a number of years focusing on batik as his main medium, Mark Mulfinger
discovered linocuts as a "sister medium." The progression
from light to dark values parallels that of batik, with the advantage,
in the new field of printmaking, of many individual, original pieces.
In addition, linocuts executed in layers of colors, averaging 10 in
depth, provide a tactile presence more akin to oil painting.
