County Museum of Art Features Works by Vadim Bora, Marcus Hamilton and
Lin Barnhardt Spring offerings at the Spartanburg County Museum of Art include retrospectives by Russian-born artist Vadim Bora as well as Charlotte-based cartoonist Marcus Hamilton, the pen behind the daily cartoon strip, “Dennis The Menace.” A third exhibit features the architectural models of Lin Barnhardt of Mt. Pleasant, whose work employs a dropped vanishing point simulating a bird’s eye view of landmark buildings. |

He received more recognition the following year when the North Carolina Arts Council selected him along with three other artists to design and create an ornament for the White House. |
