DSLR photography for the Beginner
DSLR photography for the Beginner (14+)
Tuesday; 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
July 11th - August 15th, 2017
Tuition: SAM members $170; non-members $190 - 6 weeks

If you have always wanted to go beyond the “auto” mode on your DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera, then this class is for you. Join us as we learn about the camera’s different menus and options and how to manually adjust these settings in order to create the photographs you have always wanted. Students will experiment with apertures, shutter speeds, ISOs, and white balances. They will also acquire knowledge about the use and care of the camera and how to compose a visually compelling photograph. Be prepared to go outside weather permitting and bring a DSLR camera to class. This class is open to adults and teens over 14 years of age.
