up[route]d

8.15 - 11.10.2019

up[route]d suggests upheaval, chaos, conflict, migration and sorrow. The daily news delivers stories saturated in all of these themes from our own southern border, to the war in Syria, to the ones who stayed behind. These artists explore what it means to be displaced, watched, misunderstood and persecuted, all while searching for a space, a country, a new home that is empathetic, welcoming, and safe from violence and conflict.
