Want to improve your observational drawing skills? Working from a nude model is an excellent way to advance one’s drawing proficiency. Students will be given lots of individual instruction as they investigate depicting the human figure and focus on proportion, gesture and form. Charcoal, graphite pencil, conte and other mediums may be used.
- Drawing pad - 18" x 24 recommended but not mandatory. Please bring at least 11" x 17". Newsprint is most economical but any drawing paper will do.
- Bring whatever drawing tools you are comfortable with. If you are a beginner, Kathleen recommends starting out with several graphite drawing pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), a kneaded eraser, and a white rubber eraser
- Optional - conte, charcoal sticks or charcoal pencils, ebony pencils,

Pre-registration is required for all classes and students are only registered when payment has been received. In order for instructors to plan properly, students should register at least one (1) week before the start date of the class. If you register less than one week before class, the class fee will increase by $10.
