The Spartanburg Art Museum’s Professional Development is back and better than ever! We listened closely after our integral PD session and have revamped our program to offer educators even more!
New for 2022-2023
- A four-part Professional Development series centered around Contemporary Art with specific topics during each session (PD days can also be purchased as individual days outside of the series)
- A certification of completion from the Spartanburg Art Museum that can be put on resumes or CV
- Sessions based around grade specific lesson plans
- More hands-on opportunities
- Resources and lesson plans to take back to the classroom
- 1 free school visit and tour per teacher
- A community of art educators
- Potential continuing education credits with USC Upstate
- Each PD session will have 35 spots
