Heather Deyling

Heather Deyling is an artist whose current and ongoing body of work, the “Invented Hybrids” series, includes sculpture, installation and drawing. Her studio practice is inspired by research and observation of natural forms, eco-fiction and the effects of climate change. She earned an MFA in painting from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and a BFA from Kent State University. Deyling has participated in numerousbsolo and group exhibitions across the United States. In 2023 she had solo exhibitions at Day and Night Projects, Atlanta, GA, Athens Institute for Contemporary Art, Athens, GA

and Greenville Center for Creative Arts, Greenville, SC. Recently, Deyling was included in a two-person exhibition at 621 Gallery, Tallahassee, FL and group exhibitions at Kai Lin Art, Atlanta, GA, and the Wiregrass Museum of Art, Dothan, AL. Upcoming projects include a solo exhibition at Spartanburg Art Museum in Spartanburg, SC and a two- person exhibition at Spruill Gallery, Dunwoody, GA. Deyling lives and works in Atlanta.
